Counter radicalization and violent extremism project  "  Buttons Radicalization and Violent Extremism outside our Communities  "(BREC)

PROGRAM IDENTIFICATION  :

This project, which covers a vast territory ranging from the regions of Koulikoro to Timbuktu via those of Ségou and Mopti, concerns areas where the threats of radicalization and violent extremism are very pronounced. These are areas which are either occupied by terrorists (Mopti and Timbuktu) or which are regularly affected by their actions (Nara, Banamba, Kolokani and Tominian). The proximity of certain areas to the borders of Mauritania and Burkina Faso further amplifies the risks of manifestations of radicalization and violent extremism because of the multifaceted influences of terrorists on populations in general and in particular on groups of populations.
